POMEGRANATE GINGER MOCKTAIL

Over the past couple of years, I discovered my love for pomegranate juice while experimenting with cocktails—it’s rich, tangy, and adds the loveliest ruby-red color to any drink. Naturally, I had to see how it would shine in a mocktail, and it did not disappoint! 🍹✨ This Pomegranate Ginger Mocktail combines the bold, slightly sweet flavor of pomegranate with a spicy kick of ginger and a splash of sparkle. It’s festive, refreshing, and perfect for any occasion where you want all the fun without the booze. Cheers to finding new favorites—one sip at a time! 🍒🍃

Equipment

  • medium-size glass jar, small pitcher, strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ginger root grated
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 cups 100% pomegranate juice
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • 4 sprigs mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  • Place pomegranate juice, two lemon slices, and grated ginger in a glass jar. Close tightly and give it a little shake to mix. Place the jar in the refrigerate for at least 2 hours to infuse, shaking every so often. Pro tip: place cocktail or martini glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes before you are serving.
  • Strain the mixture into a small pitcher.
  • Pour equal amounts of strained juice into each chilled glass (add ice here if you did not pre-chill the glasses), and top with sparkling water. Stir gently.
  • Add lemon slices, pomegranate seeds, and mint sprig just before serving.

Notes

If you enjoy the bold flavor of cloves, add a few to the mixture in the jar, for a warm, sweet, and slightly bitter flavor.
