Chocolate Peanut Butter Creamy

This Chocolate Peanut Butter Creamy treat is the perfect mix of indulgent and nourishing, whether you're using a Ninja CREAMi or just your go-to blender. Made with rich chocolate protein powder, frozen bananas, peanut butter (or PB2 if you're keeping it lighter), and a pinch of sea salt to bring out all the flavors. It's smooth, satisfying, and totally customizable. Top it your way, or just keep it smooth and creamy (my favorite). It’s also a total nutrition win: high in protein, lower in calories, and free from the fillers and mystery ingredients in many store-bought frozen desserts. Think creamy, chocolatey goodness that actually supports your goals.🍫🥜🍌

Equipment

  • Ninja CREAMi or similar device or high-speed blender

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, overripe *use frozen if using a standard blender
  • 2 Tablespoons PB2 *or peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup protein powder, chocolate
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips OPTIONAL

Instructions

for the Ninja CREAMi

  • In a medium mixing bowl, peel and add the bananas in pieces. Mash well with a fork or masher. It should be a smooth consistency with some small pieces.
  • Add the PB2 (or peanut butter), protein powder, vanilla, and sea salt. With a large spoon, mix until well-blended.
  • Pour mixture into an empty CREAMi pint. Smooth the top with the spoon, to make sure it is flat.
  • Place the storage lid on the pint and freeze for 24 hours.
  • Remove pint from the freezer and remove the lid from the pint.
  • Refer to the Ninja CREAMi quick start guide for bowl assembly and unit interaction information.
  • NOTE: Adding the mini chocolate chips is optional, but even if not adding, be sure to use the RE-SPIN function for a creamy delight!

for a blender

  • Add the frozen bananas through the sea salt to a blender. *NOTE: if you are not using a high-speed blender, thaw the bananas a bit before adding to the blender.
  • Process until completely smooth. *you may need to add a touch of milk if your blender is not strong enough to fully blend the frozen banana.
  • Serve immediately as a soft serve. Top with mini chocolate chips, if desired.
